We are an Airstream RV owners club affiliated with Region 3 of the Wally Byam Club International ( WBCCI ) the caravanning, rallying and social club of owners of
Airstream and Argosy manufactured Recreational Vehicles.
EVENTS:
Our unit is an active and diverse group dedicated to the fun of camping and the spirit of friendship. Whether week-end camping, travel Club sponsored caravans or participating in area rallies, members enjoy not only the
easy flow of information from those with years of experience but also the vibrant enthusiasm shown by newly involved folks. Opportunities abound for camping outings, enjoyable camaraderie and forging lifelong friendships .
Representing a diverse group of working people, retired people, those raising their family, and “empty nest” couples enables our club to offer a broad variety of recreational opportunities and events.
In addition to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia Unit #149 there are three other units representing the Virginia membership of the WBCCI: Northern Virginia Unit #110, Tidewater Unit #111, and Virginia Unit #109.
Besides regional units there are many facets of the WBCCI to attract and foster member's interests, such as the
Vintage Airstream Club for those interested in trailers over 25 years old ,
Amateur Radio Club, and a Fulltimers Club, for those that live full time in their RV’s. While belonging to a unit close to your home location is convenient, there are no geographic boundaries to membership and dual affiliations are also possible.
